Tracy captures what you are feeling and produces quality, active images. She is patient and kind and makes getting your picture taken enjoyable, whether in event photography, professional headshots and portraits, or other photography. She knows her craft and works hard to create amazing shots with unusual angles and perspectives. Taking a photojournalist approach to event photography, she captures images that others might miss. She is also somewhat of a perfectionist and takes the time when editing to make each image the best it can be. Tracy also understands working within a budget and will do her best to come up with a package that meets your needs while not breaking the bank. From professional headshots or portraits to event photography and everything in between, Novel Photos is the professional photography service you need.
In the 35+ years since she first picked up a camera, Tracy has taken hundreds of thousands of images, perfecting her craft on the path to becoming a true professional photographer. She loves shooting performing arts (dance, theatre, or concerts) or sports, but also appreciates the challenge of making a corporate event interesting visually. Her photos have been published in two different newspapers, one national photography training manual, and several online publications. Starting in September 2021, she is the featured photographer in the magazine,"Trussville Neighbors"
and has shown some of her work in art exhibits. Furthermore, Tracy is a writer, with her work being published both in print and online. Tracy has one adult daughter, is learning sign language and wants to add being a professional interpreter to her resume', and is in a relationship with a fellow photographer. She is passionate about mental health and invisible illness advocacy and has a blog dedicated to this cause called Spotlight on Stigma (#SoS).
